Georgia's Firearm Permit Reciprocity

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.

A person carrying a weapon with a license from a state not listed above, as one with whom Georgia has reciprocity, must comply with O.C.G.A § 16-11-126 which requires that the weapon be housed in the glove compartment, console or the trunk of the vehicle. It is illegal to carry a weapon in the State of Georgia without a license.
