Lt. Colonel Frederick D. Snellings, Jr. serves as the Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Safety. In this capacity, he oversees the daily operations of several divisions, including Field Operations (Troops A - I, Aviation, SWAT, SCRT, CIU, HIDTA, and Troop J composed of Safety Education and Implied Consent), Headquarters, Special Projects, Human Resources, Comptroller, Public Information Office, Planning, Operations Review, Capitol Police, Executive Security, and the Motor Carrier Compliance Division.
