Planning

The Planning Section provides support to all units of the Department of Public Safety by preparing studies and reports related to operations of the Department. They provide assistance with the collection and analysis of information and technical assistance in the creation of databases and other computer-related information management tools in cooperation with the Computer Services Section. The Planning Section responds to surveys and other requests for information, and assists with planning for special events and details. This section is often called upon to assist with development and implementation of new work processes and procedures.
