Georgia Motor Carrier Officers to Join International Enforcement Effort
ATLANTA - Motor Carrier Compliance officers from the Georgia Department of Public Safety will join officers from throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, June 6-8, for Roadcheck 2006, an annual international effort to promote safety and security on North American highways.

Thanksgiving Traffic Holiday Period
The Crash Reporting Unit of the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia State Patrol are jointly predicting 2,915 traffic crashes, 1,301 injuries and 20 traffic deaths on Georgia roads. The holiday period begins at 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 22 and ends at midnight, Sunday, November 26.
Twelve GSP Members Among those Honored at Awards Ceremony
