National Drunk and Drugged Driving (3D) Prevention Month.
December 19, 2003 - January 4, 2004 - As part of 3D month, nearly 10,000 law enforcement agencies join forces with hundreds of traffic safety organizations in all 50 States to protect citizens through the You Drink & Drive. You Lose. Campaign. This is a national mobilization effort to deter impaired driving during the holiday periods (Christmas and New Year's Eve). The winter holidays are also one of the deadliest times of year on America's highways for impaired driving.
