2016 Georgia Department of Public Safety Title VI Program

The Georgia Department of Public Safety hereby gives public notice that it is the policy of the Department to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related non-discrimination authorities in all programs and activities. It is our policy that no person in the State of Georgia shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, low-income, or limited English proficiency be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any of our programs or activities.

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discriminatory practice under the Title VI nondiscriminatory program has a right to file a formal complaint. The complaint must be filed in writing or in person with the Georgia Department of Public Safety, Title VI Program Coordinator, within ninety (90) days from: the date of the alleged discriminatory act or upon notice of the discriminatory act.
