Please follow all instructions shown on the application. If you need more space, you may attach additional sheets. All applications, including those for a promotion and/or transfer of position must be completed IN FULL. A complete and accurate application is essential, since this is the primary source used for determining your qualifications.

Applicant Procedure
1. Troopers, Communication Equipment Operators, and Driver Examiners must pass the written GMS test. The testing dates vary for each position opportunity. Please go to the Exam Information and Schedule link for more details. Current State Employees do NOT have to take the written exam, except for the Trooper position.

2. Complete and send the GSP application, along with your passing test score to Personnel Services for review. (CEO and DE applicants only)

3. Applicants and Current State employees must successfully complete a through background investigation, including a Polygraph examination.

4. For all applicants, a formal interview will also be required.

5. An applicant can be disqualified for employment at any level and will be notified by the Personnel Services Division.
