Office Guidance and FAQs
The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) and other state law enforcement have been charged with enforcement of this order by Governor Kemp. Georgia state troopers, motor carrier and Capitol police officers, as well as Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) law enforcement division and Georgia sheriff’s deputies are authorized to mandate the closure of any business, establishment, corporation, non-profit corporation, or organization not in compliance with this order for a period not to extend beyond the term of this order.
If you observe one of the above-mentioned entities is not complying with this executive order, please contact DPS Communications Centers, DNR Statewide Dispatch Center, of the Sheriff’s Office for the county in which you live.
NOTE: Regarding the shelter in place order, DPS Communications Centers will continue to operate as normal regarding traffic crashes, and agency-assists. If there is a normal emergency, including health, domestic, criminal, fire, etc., please contact your city or county 911 call center.

DNR’s Statewide Dispatch Center can be contacted at (800) 241-4113.
