Electronics Specialist

This position will be responsible for the installation of new radio equipment consoles, including printer mounts and airbag cutoff switches, in Dept. of Public Safety fleet. Will also support the electronic equipment installed (radios, printers, computers and docking stations) and produce complex electronic circuitry boards to control and regulate voltage.

Minimum required qualifications: Successful completion of a technical school program in electronics or completion of  three (3) college level courses in electronics or electrical engineering; or one (1) year experience in repairing/installing electronic equipment.

Preferred qualifications: Additional education in electronics or electrical engineering.

Salary: $24,322
