Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides support and office administration to management at the Governor’s Mansion. Provides information and assistance to internal and external customers, resolves issues and prepares research data. May supervise and plan work of assigned staff.
- Conducts the scheduling of activities and events for the Governor’s Mansion.
- Maintains the RSVP list for the Mansion’s security gate.
- Assists with planning, organizing and coordinating the daily activities and events for the Mansion.
- Performs a variety of administrative support functions at the discretion of management.
- Analyzes problems, questions, issues, etc. and develops recommendations for resolving them.
- Conducts extensive research to compile information needed to generate reports, complete projects and accurately respond to questions and concerns.
- Documents (e.g. logs, posts, records, etc.) data/information
- Organizes and executes activities and special projects
- Plans and coordinates meetings, conferences, seminars and travel calendars
- Provides program, administrative, and/or technical assistance and interpretation.
- Researches and resolves detailed issues/questions.
- Serves as a liaison and engages in a variety of contacts inside and outside organization in order to obtain or relay information, arrange meetings, and gather data.
- Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision
Candidates must have proficient writing, verbal communication and telephone skills and possess excellent software skills in the following: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of work related experience Or Six years of work related experience Or One year at the lower level or position equivalent (GST013)
