PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the first-floor Training Room at the Department of Public Safety ("DPS" or "Department") Headquarters located at 959 United Ave SE, Atlanta, Georgia, a hearing will be held for members of the public and household goods carriers to comment upon proposed increases to the Department of Public Safety's current Maximum Rate Tariff for Carriers of Household Goods in Intrastate Transportation (or "Tariff'). The proposed adjustments are highlighted in red in Proposed Household Goods Maximum Rate Tariff No. 7. 


None of the proposed increases exceeds 3% for either hourly or weight and distance rates and none of the proposed increases for packing materials exceeds 18%. 


The expected effective date of the revised Tariff is Tuesday, January 13, 2026. A copy of the proposed revised Tariff (Maximum Rate Tariff No. 7) is attached to this Notice. 


All interested persons are hereby advised of the opportunity to submit data, views, or arguments, orally or in writing, regarding the proposed revised Tariff. Oral comments will be limited to ten minutes per person. Anyone needing more than ten (10) minutes should request additional time by contacting Lt.
