Post Critical Incident Seminar (PCIS) #30
PCIS is a three-day training seminar for first responders who have been through highly traumatic events. The event is experiential in format, providing them the chance to talk through a particularly horrific or troublesome event in the presence of the public safety peers. The group receives training in first responder survival of traumatic stress and coping, as well as one-on-one support from members of the PCIS Peer Team.
Course cost: There is no course cost for this seminar. Participating departments and agencies will cover meals in transit and two or three nights of lodging. The training site will be held at the Epworth by the Sea Conference Center on St Simons Island, GA.

Registrations will be handled on a first-come basis. When all slots have been filled, a waiting list will be compiled based on date of receipt of registration. Upon receiving and approval of your registration, OPSS staff will contact you with further details. Spouses are encouraged to attend and will participate in the seminar and training.
If your spouse or significant other is attending, he/she should complete a separate registration form.
