Position Title: Mechanic

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, maintains, inspects, diagnoses and repairs Dept. of Public Safety vehicles, including but not limited to patrol cars and other motorized vehicles. Responsible for equipment installation (i.e safety lights/radio), diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, and other related service activity.

Minimum required qualifications: Two (2) years automotive maintenance experience

Preferred qualifications: Automotive technology certification and/or prior experience servicing law enforcement vehicles. 

Salary: $24,322 - $33,482
