(ATLANTA, GA) – Colonel Chris Wright, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Safety along with Governor Brian Kemp, Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan, Speaker of the House David Ralston, members of the Georgia General Assembly, the Board of Public Safety, and Departmental employees participated in the groundbreaking ceremony this morning for the new Georgia Department of Public Safety Headquarters facility that will be in Atlanta, GA.  The current DPS headquarters is 64 years old and outdated.  The new facility will be modern and incorporate cutting edge technology that will serve DPS for generations to come.
