The Human Resources Division provides human resources services, including recruitment, job development, compensation analysis, policy development and consultation, personnel transactions/benefits processing, employee relations, and career development for the more than 1,600 employees of the Department of Public Safety. In addition, three attached agencies (over 300 positions/employees) are administratively attached to DPS for benefits and transaction services.
