On September 25, 2017, the Department of Public Safety approved and issued a new Maximum Rate Tariff for Non-consensual Towing Services in the State of Georgia. The new tariff is scheduled to go into effect on Thursday, November 10, 2017.

The new maximum rates DO NOT go into effect until November 10, 2017; prior to that date the existing maximum rate tariff still applies and nonconsensual towing companies are not authorized to charge any rates higher those provided by that tariff.
