Motor Carrier Compliance Division Graduates its First Motor Carrier Officer School
Congratulations to the 14 new motor carrier officers who graduated from the First Motor Carrier Officer School on Wed., Mar. 7, at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth. Governor Nathan Deal was the keynote speaker for the graduation ceremony. Four of the graduates received special honors for top performance in the following areas:
• Highest Firearms Proficiency – MCO JoeDave Roberson
• Highest Driving Proficiency – MCO Robert Long
• Highest Academic Average – MCO Eric Burns
• Top Gun – MCO Colton McGraw
Additionally, the following graduates were recognized for their leadership: MCO David King, President; MCO Matthew Archer, Vice President; MCO Jessica Reno, Secretary/Treasurer; MCO Matthew Phelps, Sergeant-At-Arms; MCO JoeDave Roberson, Pennant Bearer; and MCO Edward Smith, Chaplain.
