(ATLANTA, GA) – This past weekend, July 30 – August 1, marked the 14th wave of the multi-agency crime suppression and street racing enforcement detail in Atlanta coordinated by the Department of Public Safety (DPS). 

Below is the total DPS enforcement activity for all 14 waves of the crime suppression and street racing enforcement detail which started in April 2021, at the direction of Governor Brian Kemp.

Reckless Driving – 163
Citations/Arrests – 6,422
Warnings – 6,803
Pursuits – 242
Wanted Persons – 132
Murder Suspects - 10
Stolen Weapons – 42
Impounded Vehicles – 526
Stolen Vehicles Recovered – 77 (valued at over $1.6 million)
Drug Arrests – 83
