Office of Planning and Research
The Office of Planning and Research is responsible for developing and maintaining the agency’s strategic plan, the bi-annual review of the agency’s policies, Uniform Crime Reporting, major event planning, and other special projects as directed by the Commissioner. The office collects and compiles arrest data each month to report the agency’s crime statistics. The office also serves as the agency representative to report data monthly regarding officer-involved shootings to the U.S. Dept. of Justice.
